The Truth About LED

NASA began studying LED’s effects in promoting wound healing in astronauts by helping cells and tissues grow.

LED (light-emitting diode) light therapy is a non-invasive treatment which uses

various wavelengths that correspond to different visible colors & in turn, treat various skin conditions and concerns.

It comes in different types, Including:

Blue light affects the uppermost layer of skin and treats acne, Red light travels further into your skin & treats hyperpigmentation, fine lines and uneven texture.

Near-infrared light penetrates the deepest and is often used for pain management & tissue repair.

Today, dermatologists and estheticians commonly use LED light therapy to treat

a range of skin issues. Including:

Eczema, Hair loss, Mild to moderate acne, Psoriasis, Rough, scaly, precancerous spots on the skin (actinic keratosis), Rosacea, Sun damage, Wounds & Wrinkles.

Research suggests that LED light therapy can reduce and improve some skin conditions & issues. To see improvement in your skin, however, you need to have regular treatments.

To see optimum results, you need to receive regular treatments with an FDA cleared or approved device. Unfortunately, many practitioners use LED

panels that don't have enough bulbs and/or provide satisfactory penetration of the skin.
